Giraffe are very elegant animals, and we saw a lot of them.  Here are three of them in a stand of thorny acacia trees- one of their favorite foods.  The trees are spiked with long thorns, but their prehensile tongues somehow manage to navigate between them to remove the leaves of the tree.
