I've attempted to provide some useful information and facts on the animals I show in these galleries.  The animals I show is not a complete list of all the animals in Tanzania, or even in the Serengeti.  They are simply the animals we saw on our trip, and I was lucky enough to photograph.

 

The factual information is as accurate as Wikipedia, the main source of my information.  Wikipedia is an open-source encyclopedia, and in that anyone on Planet Earth can edit a category, there is room for error.  Wikipedia tries to enact controls to prevent misinformation, but at best, the information is entered by a large otherwise disassociated group of people.

 

Most of the information on species is probably accurate, but there may be occasional mistakes.  Please double check your facts before including any hard data in a report or quoting them to others.
