We spent a fair amount of time in the central part of Serengeti National Park.  The headquarters has a small interpretive walk, and the bigger loops featured much wildlife, annotated below.  There were many, many birds as well.  The wildlife seen here will vary with the seasons- we visited in the dry season.  There are some kopjes here as well, though there are many more to the south of this region.
