The main reason we decided to go to Zambia was that my wife's brother is a professor of archaeology at the University of Liverpool, and during the summer holidays, he spends about six weeks in Zambia digging, interviewing locals, and taking DNA samples. We spent an afternoon at their current dig site. It was quite a pleasant area, so I took quite a few pictures of the area around the dig site, in addition to the site itself.
