Just a few hundred meters away from the dig site, I spotted these zebras milling about, keeping a wary eye on me.  Larry was also keeping a wary eye on me, since elephants were known to frequent the area, and due to fatty soles on their feet, they can sneak up on you without you realizing it.  I kept my meandering short, for safety's sake, and so Larry wouldn't spend too much time nervously looking out for me from the mound.
